How it works
From profile to booking
Talentbook is a marketplace with two sides. Talent publishes a profile and applies to work; companies search, post castings and pick who they want. Everything below describes what the platform does today — not what it might do later.
If you are talent
- Register with your details and photos. Registration is free and stays free — a paid plan only adds photos, unlimited applications and visibility.
- Confirm your email with the six-digit code we send you.
- A person reviews your profile before it goes live. Nothing is published automatically.
- Once approved you appear in search under your Talentbook code — TB-1234 — not under your name.
- Apply to castings and opportunities, or mark them as interesting and we remind you on your feed before the deadline.
- When a company accepts your application, they see your name and contact details. Not before.
If you are a company
- Create a business account and publish a company profile — logo, description and a named contact person. Talent can see who is approaching them, which is why this is required before you can reach out.
- Search the roster for free: by description in plain words, or by category, age, height, languages, city and availability.
- Organise privately at no cost — favourites, projects, notes, your own 1–5 star ratings and printable talent cards.
- A paid plan is what lets you message talent and post castings. Applicants arrive on your dashboard, where you shortlist, accept or reject them.
- Accepting an application reveals that person's name and contact details to you.
What we do about trust
- Every talent profile is reviewed by a person before publication.
- Names, emails and phone numbers are hidden at the database level, not merely hidden in the page.
- Companies must publish a real profile before they can contact anyone.
- Payments for memberships run through Stripe. Talentbook never holds your card details.
What happens after a booking — fees, contracts, schedules — is between you and the other party. Talentbook is not an agency and is not part of that agreement. See our Terms and Safety advice.
