Staying safe

• Your name, email and phone number are hidden. The public sees a code — TB-1234 — and your details reach a company only after that company accepts your application.
• Every talent profile is reviewed by a person before it is published.
• A company cannot message you or post a casting until it has published a real profile with a logo, a description and a named contact.
• Conversations happen on the platform, so there is a record if something goes wrong.

• You are asked to pay — for the casting, for a portfolio, for registration, for a “membership” with a third party. Legitimate castings do not charge the talent.
• You are asked for nude or intimate photos to “check your look”, especially early on or as a condition of being considered.
• The first meeting is at a private home or hotel room rather than a studio, office or agreed public place.
• You are pushed to move the conversation off the platform immediately, or to hand over your bank details, ID or passport before anything is agreed.
• Urgency: a decision demanded today, a fee that must be paid now, a threat that the role will go to someone else.

• Tell someone where you are going and when you expect to be back.
• Take someone with you. A parent, a friend or an agent may accompany you, and any professional will accept that.
• Agree the fee, the hours, the usage of the images and the location in writing before the day.
• You can stop at any point. Leave if you feel unsafe — no job is worth it, and no professional will hold it against you.

A profile for a minor may only be created and managed by a parent or legal guardian, who must accompany them at castings and shoots. If you believe a profile misstates someone's age, report it — we act on those first.

Report anything that worries you through the contact form: the Talentbook code, the casting and what happened. We read every report, and we remove accounts that break the community guidelines. If you are in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services first — we are a platform, not an emergency service.
